On Sunflowers & Hope

sunflower field

Today, April 22, is Earth Day. Earth gives us the most beautiful gifts. It nourishes our bodies, hearts, and souls. I took this picture in a lovely sunflower field on a sunny day. The sunflowers were thriving, so tall and reaching out to the blue sky. Their delicate fragrance was in the air. The grass was green and luscious. The trees were healthy and happy. This is Earth at its best. Let’s keep it that way.

Let’s be kind to Earth.

  1. What a great post for Earth Day! Your thoughtful words made me smile and reflect too.

Unfortunately, here in our so-called enlightened BC community, you couldn’t even tell it WAS Earth Day, yesterday. 😦 Not even our local health food co-op did anything. Glad we are moving soon.

Have a wonderful week Loredana, glad I stopped in today for a visit.
